12 Blogs Of Christmas—Blog #11 Holly Jolly Christmas

Welcome to the 12 Blogs of Christmas! Blog # 11 Holly Jolly Christmas Holly has traditionally been associated with Christmas and festivals for centuries. While there are various origins of holly and it’s meaning, many people just view it as a beautiful way to help decorative the home. In light of that, in this blog, I wanted to focus on the color Green, which is not only popular for holly and trees at Christmas time, but also appealing when it comes to decorating your home throughout the year. Let’s take a look at some green countertop options:

12 Blogs Of Christmas—Blog # 10 Let It Snow

Welcome to the 12 Blogs of Christmas!

Blog # 10 Let It Snow

In this blog, I wanted to focus on some winter whites for those upcoming remodeling projects that include countertops.  After yesterday’s December rain, I have to admit, I am ready for some snow. With the holiday season upon us, a fresh dusting of snow would brighten things. With that in mind, I thought I would show off some white material colors representative of the season.

Let’ take a look…

Crema Antartica Granite

Snow White Dupont Zodiaq

Stellar Snow Silestone

Artic White Granite

Blizzard Caesarstone

Thanks for reading and get ready for those shovels!

12 blogs Of Christmas—Blog #9 Deck The Halls

Welcome to the 12 Blogs of Christmas!

Blog # 9 Deck The Halls

While natural stone countertops have become popular for the kitchen and bathroom over the years, did you know that natural stone has also become quite stylish for other parts of the home including halls, and walls? Many consumers like the look of stone and are incorporating it more and more in their remodeling projects.

Let’s take a look at a few examples:

Cosmos Granite Bar Top With Multi-Colored Slate Wall And Backsplash

In this picture, the home owner incorporated some multi-colored slate for their bar wall, as well as for their backsplash. Notice how the two different stones compliment one another.

Multi-Colored Stair Risers

In this photo, the homeowner chose to use multi-colored slate stair risers. Notice how the stone compliments the natural wood tones.

Multi-Colored Slate Chimney and Wainscoting House Wall

In this photo, the homeowner incorporates some multi-colored slate in an outdoor setting.

And how about those commerical projects?

Many commercial projects frequently incorporate natural stone for flooring, as well as walls. Check out Marble Stays The Course, to read how one remodeling/development firm incorporated some existing marble panels from an old office building into some remodeled loft condos.  Talk about Green!

Blog # 8 Red Christmas

In this blog, I wanted to focus on the color Red, which is a very popular Christmas color and also appealing when it comes to decorating your home. Many people are drawn to the color red not only because it is bold and vibrant, but also because it is warm and inviting. It paints a perfect picture during the holiday season and can do same, when used for decorating.

Let’s take a look at some red granite countertop options:

Bordeaux Granite

Abstract Brown

Juparana Golden Bordeaux

Red Sunset Granite Desk

Palideo Granite Bar Top

Here are a few links showing some other red decorating options that I wanted to share:
