Granite Countertops And Layout…

While taking on a remodeling project can be exciting and rewarding, many consumers don’t always realize the amount of choices and decisions that often times need to made. That’s why many consumers do their homework up front and are selective with the materials they choose, so they are happy with their choices for the long run.

When it comes to countertop selections, at PGC, we are here for you every step of the way. From the moment you enter our showroom, we are ready to assist you. By asking questions about the look you are trying to achieve, color tones, lighting, cabinet selections, etc., we can help you determine the best material choice, and the ideal color. We can also assist in the layout process, when needed. This can be helpful for stones that have a great deal of flow, or movement to them. For example, the other day we helped a customer visualize the look of a kitchen she helped design.

Let’s take a look…

Verde Fuco Granite

Although Verde Fuco is a beautiful stone, it does contain quite a bit of movement, and flow match can sometimes be a concern in kitchen countertops that seam. With a little bit of brainstorming and teamwork, we were able to achieve a look the customer was happy with.

At PGC, we are there for you every step of the way. From helping you determine the material, to picking out the perfect color, to the layout, we are happy to assist you in the process. Some customers have a hard time visualizing how their countertops will look, especially when choosing a varied granite. In those instances, it is sometimes helpful to lay out the design of the countertops, or island.

Let’s take a look at the photo below for an example:

Sedna Granite

As you can see, this slab of Sedna granite has a lot of variation. Laying the island piece out on both sides, gave the customer the visual to see two varied options for the end result. As a customer, you have a choice in the look you would like to achieve.
