Happy Thanksgiving!

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.

Granite Countertops—Spotlight On Atlantis

In this blog, I wanted to spotlight the color, Atlantis, which is quarried in India.

Atlantis_021

Atlantis Granite

Atlantis is a neutral toned granite with shades of white, cream, gold and gray. A gentle, moving pattern can typically be be seen across the slabs, which give this stone some character. The soft color tones in this stone make it appealing to many consumers, as it provides many decorating options. Atlantis would look nice in a kitchen for countertops, or a center island. It would also look nice in a bathroom for a vanity top, or a tub surround.

If you like soft, neutral tones, you might want to take a look at the color, Atlantis.

Let’s take a look at our current stock…

Gray and White—The Latest Color Trends For Decorating

While the colors, black and white, have always provided an elegant look for decorating, the colors, gray and white seem to be the latest color trend. In fact, according to Shades of Gray…and White Highlight 2014 Color Trends, an article found in the November 2013, Kitchen  & Bath Design News, “Gray is the new black. At least according to color experts in the field of home design.”1 Gray is popular because it offers a neutral choice with a wide array of shades from dark to light, that mix well with other color tones. While white has always been a popular choice, today’s white  differs a bit.  It is not the classic, pure white, but “now includes off whites, beiges, taupes and even pale shades of green, blue, pink and gray.” 2

It is no wonder, we’ve seen a lot of white granites and marbles being delivered to our facility lately for fabrication. We have also brought in a number of white slabs for our customers to choose from.

Let’s take a look at a few whites:
